A Life of Inquiry
I don't want to tell people how to live.
I want to help them see themselves clearly enough that they naturally begin to live more fully as themselves.
This work grew out of my own search for happiness. Despite outward success, I found myself asking why fulfillment remained so elusive. That question led me into mythology, psychology, contemplative traditions, neuroscience, and years of personal practice. What emerged is a different way of understanding the human condition — one centered not on fixing ourselves, but on recovering the authentic self that has always been there beneath fear and conditioning.
My background is an unusual combination of professional achievement, sustained inner work, and lived experience.
I have a career in business that extends over 25 years, most recently, I served as Vice President of Commercial for a leading clean technology company, managing complex relationships with global organizations including Ford, GM, POSCO, LG, and Panasonic, and participating in high-stakes negotiations, mergers and acquisitions, and strategic development. I know firsthand what it means to build a successful life by conventional measures and still sense that something essential is missing.
Following the collapse of my first marriage, I embarked on a years-long inquiry into happiness, authenticity, and the nature of the self. What began as a personal search evolved into the framework at the heart of The Authenticity Antidote. That inquiry led me into sustained work in therapy, deep study of psychology, depth psychology, mythology, philosophy, and the world's wisdom traditions.
I have maintained a meditation and breathwork practice for over fifteen years and carry initiation as a lineage holder in the Siddha Tantra tradition. I also lead a men's group where many of the ideas explored in my writing and coaching are tested against the realities of everyday life.
Today I work as a writer and coach, helping people navigate the same territory I have walked. I bring to this work not a finished map, but a living one — shaped by ongoing conversations, teaching, and the kind of learning that only comes from doing the work yourself.
This work is still unfolding. It is a journey I love.
